A Proximity Based Data Visualisation Metaphor

Welcome to the website devoted to the Proximap concept, a research project by Michael Battle, supervised by Dr Michael Rees at Bond University.

The study outlines the benefits and specifications of a new, novel visualisation metaphor and demonstrates how it can be used to organise data in a variety of applications.

This site presents a detailed introduction to the study, all relevant documentation, an area for you to register to be notified when the results are published and the researcher's contact details.

This site may appear incomplete and will remain so until the study has been finalised. This is to ensure all participants have limited exposure to the concept in an attempt to keep the results free of bias.
